🍂 Next week is looking beautiful for fall photos in Coquitlam.

The forecast is showing sunshine throughout next week, just as our autumn colours are becoming their most beautiful. ☀️🍁

From experience, I know how quickly this little window can disappear once the October rain arrives, so these next couple of weeks are truly some of my favourite time for outdoor family photographs.

I’ve opened after-school appointments at Como Lake in Coquitlam next week, so we can catch the warm evening light, enjoy these incredible colours and create something beautiful together. 🤎

Sometimes all you need is one beautiful ray of light.

The way it catches her hair, shapes the dress, and brings attention to that quiet curve of pregnancy — suddenly the whole image changes.

That is what I’m always looking for during a session: the right light, the right angle, and the little details that make everything come together naturally.

The magic is never accidental.

Before this session, I came to the location, checked the light, planned the scene, prepared the dress, adjusted every little detail — and during the shoot, we kept moving, fixing, trying, creating.

Even those tiny pieces floating in the air were intentional.

Because every detail matters when I want the final photograph to feel effortless, beautiful, and a little bit magical.

That is the part of photography I love most. 🤍

September brings one of my favourite little colour moments 💜

For a short time, this spot turns into these beautiful deep purple tones — such a rich backdrop for maternity portraits, especially when you want something a little more dramatic and romantic.

I also love including your partner in the session. These photographs are not only about pregnancy, but about the two of you waiting for someone who is about to change your whole world.
